The person who I am going to introduce to you today is our own young vibrant CM “Mr. Omar Abdullah”. How do you look at him ….As a “Hero or a Villain!!…..As a “Nayak or Khalnayak!!”Lot of his actions resemble our bollywood hero Anil Kapoor…. “NAYAK-Ek Din Ka CM”.But remembers this CM has to carry on for 6 years.
Let’s first have a look at what exactly he has done so far and the Brighter or Darker side of his efforts. To set the tone right, let’s talk about his surprise visits first.
- His surprise visit to “Lal Ded Hospital”. The premier maternity care hospital, Lal Ded is witnessing swift improvements after the chief minister Omar Abdullah’s surprise inspection. Now will this improvement drive continue or you just call it “Naya Josh”. How does a common man feel about it and how does the new CM himself feel about it.
- Next surprise visit was in Jammu. Continuing with his surprise visits of various offices and important institutions, the Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah visited Grid Station, Gladni, SMGS Hospital and Police Station, Gandhinagar.Immediate suspension orders were rolled on spot. Now the only thing that boggles our mind is “Who all were suspended and did the orders get an official stamp?”Will he ever enquire about the same or he will just move on?
The new CM promises of solving the “Unemployement Menace” and resolving long standing “Kashmir Issue”. Now keeping our fingers crossed, do we believe him or we continue with our age old ideology of saying “His father did nothing, he will do nothing”. Is this the time to appreciate his efforts or suspect him? The new CM has asked the administration to formulate a schedule for the first 100 days of the government to set tone for good governance. He directed the PDD officials to e-mail him on every Monday the status of repairs and restoration. At times we feel so pleased about all this but at times we think “Isn’t it happening too quick and in a cosmic way?”
The new CM “Omar Abdullah “said that as he is the youngest ever chief minister of the state, people are looking at the government with high expectations and lot of hopes. Now the problem with this concept of youngsters as decision makers is that so far it is a musing and a fairy-tale. We often hear it “The Future Belongs To The Youth!!” How many young leaders and decision makers have you seen in history of India till now (leaving apart IT industries)? We all know the answer. It is simple because young people are hardly or as they say it “Once In A Blue Moon” taken seriously. People always neglect a softer, “greener” side to this generation drive. So what is CM Omar Abdullah’s fate and the fate of J&K.?
How many of you like me believe in this saying………………..
“Small Opportunities Are Often The Beginning Of Great Enterprises!!”
